Fruits from Around the World
Tunisia is home to some of the world's most renowned fruits. Djebba (Béja region) white figs are considered the finest in the country: sweet, tender, naturally sun-dried. Kairouan pomegranates, juicy and rich in antioxidants, are a nutritional treasure. Tunisian Maltaise oranges, with their characteristic orange-red colour and slightly tangy taste, are the pride of Tunisian agriculture. Deglet Nour dates from Tozeur — nicknamed 'the queen of dates' — are translucent, fleshy, delicately sweet and GlobalGAP certified.
